To get the best views of Mount Merapi’s peak, we recommend starting from your hotel in Yogyakarta at 07.00 AM. The latest departure should be 08.00 AM, as fog often covers the volcano after 09.00 AM.

• Clear views of Merapi’s peak are not guaranteed, as it depends on unpredictable weather conditions.
• On Mondays, the Yogyakarta Palace (Keraton) is closed. However, we can still visit other interesting places nearby as alternatives.
• Optional river splash ride (+30 mins) — IDR 100.000 per Jeep, an extra charge applies.
• Our Jeeps are driven by licensed local drivers, and the route is adjusted based on Merapi’s current activity status. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities.
• Pickup & Drop-off in Yogyakarta City: Pickup and drop-off are available within Yogyakarta city. For locations outside the city, an extra charge applies.
